Test Systems Purchasing

Test systems enable the client to carry out a suitability test of companies, independent of concrete orders. The contractors successful in the context of the testing system are entered in a list and, in the case of specific contracts, are invited to submit tenders without further call for competition (§§ 228, 256 BVergG 2018).

As ÖBB, we award contracts on the basis of functional performance specifications and objectively assessable criteria in accordance with the sector regulations of the Federal Public Procurement Act. These are generally announced in the tender documents.
