Operating location descriptions

The RU extract of a operating location description (Bsb) contains the description of a transport station from an operational point of view and provides information on track and platform lengths, platform heights, signal locations and much more.

Operating location descriptions (Bsb-Documents) in the Regulations online shop

You find the current operating location descriptions from June 16, 2026 exclusively in our Regulations online shop at Meine Regelwerke ​ Betriebsstellenbeschreibungen (Bsb).

The operating location descriptions are not available for purchase in the webshop and are only available for RUs authorised on the Austrian network.

Change dates

RUs are actively informed if the change affects the RU extract of the respective operating location description accessible to RUs. Information about changes to the operating location descriptions on the change dates listed below is sent to registered recipients via the regulations newsletter. Changes during the year will be announced via the OSS mailing.
