Grautschenhof Tunnel Section

The Grautschenhof tunnel section is about seven kilometres long and lies in Styria. It extends from the Fröschnitzgraben section to the portal in Mürzzuschlag. Construction started in spring 2016. ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG is building two access shafts in Grautschenhof. Two tunnel drives, one per tube, run from here towards Mürzzuschlag and towards Fröschnitzgraben - using the excavation and blasting method.
