Infrastructure capacity agreement

The infrastructure capacity agreement is a prerequisite for access to rail infrastructure and for use of services and service facilities.

This agreement on the use of rail infrastructure is concluded between ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG and a railway undertaking (RU). The train path agreement is also part of the infrastructure capacity agreement and contains the relevant details of the allocated train path, as well as any services and service facilities used in the relevant working timetable period.
