According to Article 23 of Directive (EU) 2016/797 and § 112 EisbG, a railway undertaking must ensure, among other things, that the rail vehicle is compatible with the railway on which it is used (Route Compatibility Check RCC). ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG not only provides the necessary infrastructure data for this purpose, but also extends the support in the form of the INFRA SK.

Verification of a part of the route compatibility (Route Compatibility Check RCC) for single vehicles or fixed train configurations

Prerequisite
Prerequisite for the implementation of an INFRA SK is the proven network compatibility based on the national technical rules (NTR).
Note: The proven network compatibility is either included in the authorisation for placing on the market (APM) for vehicles with an authorisation according to the 4th railway package or in the former network approval of ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG for vehicles with an authorisation before the 4th railway package came into force.
