Rail infrastructure capacity contract

The rail infrastructure capacity contract enables allocation of rail infrastructure capacity to non-railway undertakings.

The conclusion of an agreement on allocation of rail infrastructure capacity (rail infrastructure capacity contract) is a prerequisite for allocation of train paths to those parties that are authorised for rail infrastructure capacity but that are not railway undertakings and therefore do not have a direct right to access rail infrastructure. The train path agreement is an important part of the rail infrastructure agreement, containing details of the allocated train paths for the relevant working timetable period.
