The Traisen Valley Railway from St. Pölten to Hainfeld or Freiland is an important route for opening up the district of Lilienfeld. It is particularly important for schoolchildren and commuters. Further, a number of railway crossings will be abandoned. This means that neuralgic points in the road network will disappear and measures to increase safety will be taken. With this bundle of actions, we are not only making a significant contribution to climate protection, but also increasing safety in road traffic as a whole.
