Correction digits for CT freight wagons

If combined (and codified) transport (CT) freight wagons do not conform exactly with the technical requirements set out in IRS 50596-6 (formerly UIC Leaflet 596-6), then they require a corresponding correction digit in order to obtain a wagon compatibility code such as C, P, B or ISO.

When allocating codes, account is also taken of the fact that the conditions offered on the ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG network are better than those set out in the standardised characteristic curves in IRS 50596-6.
