Palais Pálffy

Event location in the heart of Vienna. Named after the sovereign family Pálffy who inhabited the Palais in the 17th century, it has seen many famous celebrities come and go. One of them was Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. In his childhood days, the halls would be filled with his music, and it is said that “Figaro” was played here for the very first time to a small selected audience. The reconstruction after World War II gave the building its characteristic look: old Vienna on the outside, and a mix of classicalism and twentieth century inside.
