Modernising rail links in the border triangle
The railway line between Feldkirch and Buchs SG, which is around 18 kilometres long, connects Austria, Liechtenstein and Switzerland. It is therefore a key route in international rail transport and plays an important role in long-distance services as well as in cross-border local and freight services.
Through targeted modernisation measures, ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG is gradually developing this line further. The aim is to create an efficient, reliable connection within the international rail network.
