Stronger IT support for operational processing
ÖBB-Infrastruktur is focusing on digitalisation and automation in order to further develop success criteria such as punctuality, safety and customer satisfaction, as well as to facilitate access to the railway. Current projects focus on the exchange of information between infrastructure operators and transport companies and automated operations.
Visualisation of train-relevant information
Easy handling, greater operational safety: the infraDOAS mobile app simplifies communication in day-to-day operations and optimises operational processes between dispatchers and train drivers. With the infraDOAS (INFRA Driver Operational Assistant System) mobile app, ÖBB-Infrastruktur provides a turnkey mobile visualisation application for Android and Apple tablets. The app is expected to be offered in the 2025 working timetable period as a partially chargeable additional service for the display of train-relevant content. Content from the ZFM (train journey management) interface is integrated into the mobile app, which was developed in collaboration with the industry and users. This content is presented clearly and compactly as an all-in-one software solution.
