We are committed to high quality, so that more customers will come to appreciate the benefits of rail transport. Our aim: shorter travel times, more capacity, connecting Europe, effective linking of road and rail and of course, top-class service. With the extension and new build of routes we expand our offer to the market at the very point, where demand is going to rise sharply in the next few years. At the same time we are modernising our stations for even more comfort and accessibility. The overall punctuality of our network speaks for itself. For passenger traffic it is 96 percent. Also, regarding safety, we are among the top undertakings in international railway traffic. Train safety systems, new telecommunication technologies and the automation of signalling technology also contribute to an extent.
