New and from a single cast
In order for the new station to meet all the demands of modern mobility, it will be moved about 270 metres towards Vienna and rebuilt in the area of the straight line. A new passenger walkway will connect the two platforms, which can each be reached either by stairs or by a lift. Access will be via a new access road with accompanying footpath and cycle path, which branches off at the roundabout at the entrance to the town. As there is no cross slope in the new stopping area, passenger safety and comfort when boarding and alighting are increased.

State-of-the-art and practical
In detail, Maria Anzbach railway station will receive two new platforms, each with a platform roof and waiting booths. The new passenger walkway including lifts connects the two. A modern information system with screens and new loudspeakers completes the new services.
All modes of transport meet at the forecourt. A bus stop including a reversing loop reduces the distance our customers have to walk between the train and the bus to just a few metres. The new Park & Ride facility, which offers space for 50 cars, is directly adjoining the forecourt. 20 temporary parking spaces south of the railway will be retained, as will the access via Kronesstraße.
For two-wheel users, 24 covered bicycle parking spaces are available north of the railway and 48 south of the railway. There is space for a further five mopeds on each side.
For optimal accessibility, paths and roads will also be newly constructed: An access road with accompanying footpath and cycle path from the roundabout at the beginning of the village facilitates access to the new station. In addition, a footpath and cycle path will be built along the railway between Unter Oberndorf, Maria Anzbach and Hofstatt.
