Summerau Railway

The approximately 61-kilometre-long railway line between Linz and Summerau is an important connection for both commuters and leisure travellers. Since 2017, ÖBB has been consistently continuing its station initiative on the Summerauerbahn and has made seven stations and four stops more attractive in order to convince even more people to switch to the environmentally friendly train in the future.

At the same time, ÖBB is investing in the route network and increasing safety at railway crossings as well as new electronic signal boxes, thus ensuring a reliable network and punctual trains.
