More safety and comfort
Two lifts provide barrier-free access to the new platforms. Modern waiting booths offer protection in all weathers.
The Park&Ride and Bike&Ride facilities will be relocated and significantly expanded. In future, there will be 100 covered bicycle parking spaces and 30 for motorcycles as well as 50 parking spaces for cars.
The new provincial road underpass with accompanying footpath and cycle path will make a significant contribution to safety and improved traffic flow.
Construction work will continue until mid-2026, with restrictions for rail passengers and road users being kept to a minimum. A comprehensive overall concept has been developed to ensure fast and safe construction work.
